Corey Sevier landed the highly sought after role of the brooding yet sensitive Trip Brady, an abused young man looking to start his life over in Warner Brother's all new martial arts action-drama, Black Sash.
Created by Tollin & Robbins (the producers of Smallville) in affiliation with the WB, the show was headed by Carlton Cuse (Martial Law, Nash Bridges), Janet Tamaro (Law and Order), Robert Kamen (The Karate Kid, Lethal Weapon 3, The Fifth Element, The Transporter).
Alongside Sevier starred martial-art star Russell Wong (Romeo Must Die) and Academy Award Winning actor Mako (Bullet Proof Munk, Pearl Harbour, Seven Years in Tibet).
The series only added to Sevier's American fan base, as much of the WB's publicity team's efforts were spent promoting him and his up-and-coming career.
Corey appeared on Hollywood Extra and Access Hollywood, did interviews with Entertainment Tonight, CNN, and many other major entertainment programs, as well had featured stories and photo-spreads in numerous magazines, including The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Pop Stars, Twist and was featured as the 'It Boy' in April's issue of Seventeen Magazine in 2003.
